I believe in doing what I can to make the world a better place. Now that I'm in a position to do so, I have selected four charities that will receive 1/3 of your purchase price from the sale of specific items. Keep reading for the full story...

American Cancer Society - My mom and my brother both died from different forms of cancer. It's a little scary knowing that two of your three immediate family members died from a disease with no cure. Let's do what we can to help doctors and scientists find a cure to this horrible disease. I will donate one-third of the purchase price of any item made with my ribbon cutter to the American Cancer Society. Lexington, TX United Methodist Church - This church welcomed me, gave me a community, and helped me grow closer to God during a time in my life when I very much needed all three. LUMC does so much for Lexington, and I know that every penny will be put to good use. LISD Band Boosters - My dad spent most of his career as the band director for Lexington ISD. Personally, I have been the band director's kid, a band kid, and a band parent at Lexington ISD. Being in band and later serving the band through Band Boosters gave me treasured memories and friends and a life-long appreciation for music. I will donate one-third of the purchase price from any green and gold item to the Lexington, TX ISD Band Boosters, who work to support the needs of the band program. MPI Foundation - Certainly not last or least is the MPI Foundation. Before forming this company, I spent most of my career as an event planner. Being active in the MPI Texas Hill Country Chapter gave me a voice when I didn't always feel like I had one professionally. MPI educated me, expanded my perspective and network, and gave me lifelong friends. I will donate one-third of the purchase price of these earrings or necklaces to the MPI Foundation, which funds grants, research and scholarships for the association for people who bring people together.
